LEGO® Advent Wreath

Today, is the second week of Advent.  We have lit the second candle on our advent wreath. The wreath has five candles.  Three purple, one pink, and one white.  Each candle stands for something about the coming of Christ.

Last week I blogged about the first candle.  It is the Promise candle.

The second purple candle is the Candle of Light.   This candle reminds us of the star over the stable in Bethlehem when Jesus was born.  God gave us a special light to lead the way to where Jesus was born. 

Did you notice that the wreath is in the shape of a circle.  The circle stands for the everlasting life that we have in Jesus.  We will live forever with him if we have accepted him as our Saviour.  Do you know Jesus?  Check out my wordless bricks on the right hand side if you would like to know more about Jesus.

Each Sunday, I will be telling you about a candle and what it means.  On Christmas we will light the final candle.
