LEGO Advent Wreath
Today, is the third week of Advent.  I have lit the pink candle on my advent wreath. The wreath has five candles.  Three purple, one pink, and one white.  Each candle stands for something about the coming of Christ.

I blogged about the first and second candle over the last two weeks, the candles of Promise and Light.

Candle of Joy
The pink candle is the Candle of Joy.   This candle reminds us of the words the angel spoke to the shepherds the night Jesus was born.  "I bring you good news of great joy". It was joyful news that Jesus had come to save us of our sins.

Did you notice that the wreath is green.  Green is a symbol of life.  As we look at the color green we are reminded that Jesus came to give us an everlasting life.  If you have accepted Jesus as our Saviour you will have everlasting life.  Did you know that salvation is a free gift from God.  It can't be earned, we cannot just be good and enter heaven. We can only get to heaven by accepting Jesus's free gift. Do you know Jesus?  Check out my wordless bricks on the right hand side if you would like to know more about Jesus.

Each Sunday, I will be telling you about a candle and what it means.  On Christmas we will light the final candle.

God Bless You!
