This week's product of the week is a DIY project. Some of you have expressed that you are enjoying the DIY projects.
I recently completed a art class with my homeschool co-op. During the class we had an opportunity to work with clay. I really enjoy art and working with clay. Our project was to make a pinch pot. We were able to decorate it any way that we wanted. Being the LEGO® fan that I am, when I looked down at my clay I saw a opportunity to make a great minifigure head pinch pot.
I quickly got to work. Here is stage one of my LEGO® minifigure pinch pot.
After the product was fired in a kiln, then I painted it. Here is stage two.
If you do not have access to a kiln don't worry. You can use air dry clay or Model Magic which is available at most craft supply stores, to make this project too.
Hope you have enjoyed this post. If you get a chance to try this out, email me at buildinglegoswithchrist@gmail.com. I would love to see your creations. I welcome emails for educational and biblical creations. Feel free to share anytime your photos or videos anytime. Thank you to those who have shared with me, I have enjoyed your emails.
Thanks Ms. Laurie for a great class.
God Bless,
CJ
